Couples & Families

Couples

Each relationship is unique, so therapy will look different for every couple. Generally, I work with couples to define the purpose and value of the relationship, which may have been lost along the way. In conscious relationships - a concept that is at the core of my approach - we are responsible for ourselves, expectations, and needs, while also acknowledging and validating experiences.

I work with couples to

  • identify problematic cycles and underlying emotions

  • heal betrayals, trauma, and resentment

  • and learn new ways to relate and connect

I focus on cultivating empathy, intimacy, vulnerability, acceptance, appreciation, forgiveness, and connection. Together, we will identify painful cycles and problematic patterns related to sex, intimacy, and conflict.

Families

Similar to my work with couples, I value openness, honesty, and emotions in session. I support each family member to take responsibility for themselves, and how that frees the other to be themselves.

In my practice, I primarily work with couples, addictions, and trauma. I work in a variety of ways - from individual sessions, intensives, groups, and creative projects. Please review my other pages for details on these offerings.
